Otolaryngology - Audiology Division

Performs a variety of technical and data management responsibilities for the newborn hearing screening program of the Department of Otolaryngology - Audiology Division. Assists with the daily activities of the newborn hearing screening program. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.

Required Education/Training:
  • High school graduate.
  • On-the-job training is required, after which both written and practical assessments must be passed.

Required Experience:
  • Some experience with computers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic database management and spreadsheet applications.
  • Effective oral communication skills.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills.
  • Must have ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Ability to deal effectively and professionally with a variety of individuals.
