Electroneurodiagnostic Technician
Neurology
Full Time, 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Washington, DC
Responsible for the preparation of the patient, conducting various electroneurodiagnostic studies and the collection of information pertinent to the interpretation of tests. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.

Required Education/Training:
  • Associate's degree, preferably in a science-related field, preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Must qualify to sit for R. EEG T. exam within two years of hire.

Required Experience:
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience working in the neurodiagnostic field.
  • Current knowledge of basic EEG, evoked potentials and nerve conduction.
  • Must be able to follow detailed instructions on all procedures.
  • Able to establish good rapport with patients, public and the staff.
  • Able to work with severely ill patients.
