Directs and administers the Medicine Clerkship program, and assists with the administrative and operational aspects of the Department of Medicine Residency training program. Serves as a liaison between the Program Director of Medical Education, affiliate hospitals, medical education organizations, applicants, residents, and other departments and divisions. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.

Required Education/Training:
  • BA/BS required.
  • MA/MS in healthcare, education or relevant field preferred.

Required Experience:
  • Progressively responsible experience in an academic and/or healthcare setting or equivalent setting, including supervision of staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Familiarity with computer database systems and basic accounting for expenses.
  • Ability to interact with diverse physicians and managers.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
